A SMALL SHORTCUT TO YOUR OWN WORDS

Speak the thought.
Stay with the work.

A reply, a note, a project update. Get the words out at your own pace.

A little shortcut, wherever you’re writing.

02

Speak naturally

Say what you want to write, at your normal pace.

03

Let go

SpkIt finishes your words and sends a paste to your app.

FnHold for a quick thought.

Speak while holding Fn. Let go to finish.

FnFnTap twice for a little longer.

Go hands-free. Tap Fn again or choose Stop when you’re done.

MADE FOR THE WORDS YOU ACTUALLY USE

Familiar apps.
Your own vocabulary.

Write where you already work.

Use ordinary text fields in email, messages, documents and code editors. SpkIt sends a paste to the app you started in; keep the same field selected and check the result.

Make spoken words easier to read.

On-device cleanup helps with punctuation and spoken clutter. Apple Intelligence can polish the wording when available; basic cleanup remains available too.

Give names their preferred spelling.

Add people, projects and special words in Words. Saved spellings are hints, and Try this name lets you check how they come through.

Keep a way back to your text.

If an editor blocks the paste, copy your latest text and place it yourself. Choose whether to save local text history and how long to keep it.

YOUR WORDS ARE YOURS. FULL STOP.

Your voice belongs
on your Mac.

SpkIt uses Apple’s on-device speech technology and local cleanup. It doesn’t collect your dictations to mine, sell or train on, and it doesn’t save an audio library.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST SENTENCE

A few useful
answers.

Which Macs can use SpkIt?

SpkIt requires macOS 27 or later and a Mac with Apple silicon. Earlier macOS versions are not supported.

Does my voice go to a server?

Dictation uses Apple’s on-device speech and cleanup. The Compose preview uses a separate local writing pack. Model and software downloads may need a connection; your writing is processed on your Mac.

Can I use it in the apps I already have?

SpkIt sends a paste to the app you started in. Keep the same field selected, then check the result after “Paste sent”. Some editors may block insertion; your latest text remains available to copy.

How does the free trial work?

Finish setup, then choose Start 7-day trial in SpkIt. You get seven consecutive days with all core dictation features. When the trial ends, a one-time purchase is required for new dictation. Nothing is charged automatically, and your saved text remains available to read, copy or delete.

What does it cost after the trial?

Regular full access is $29.99 once. Redeem code SPKIT500 for $9.99: first 500 code redemptions, ending April 1, 2027, or when all 500 are redeemed. US price; local App Store pricing may vary. Starting a trial does not reserve the launch offer. Apple shows the price before you confirm. There is no subscription or later charge for your dictation unlock.

Is Compose included?

Compose is a forthcoming, optional writing upgrade. It is not included in the dictation price or trial, and is not available to purchase or download yet. A separate trial and one-time purchase are planned.

Can I use a discount code?

Use the Redeem launch offer link, or choose Redeem Apple offer code in SpkIt and enter SPKIT500. The launch code discounts the full-access purchase; it does not activate automatically when you download or start a trial. Apple shows the available local price before you confirm. Redemption limits and expiry apply.

Can I add a name or special word?

Yes. Add its preferred spelling in Words, then use Try this name to check the result. A saved word is a hint, so testing matters.
